I love a hearty Peranakan meal in Joo Chiat! An eatery that serves delicious Peranankan food such as the cincalok egg, baby spinach soup and braised duck. They are flavourful and satisfying for the tastebud and the stomach. This is one place where I am sure to say I feel pleasantly at home.
A casual eatery serving good, Peranakan (Penang) food. Big & spacious with good service, so it's ideal for big groups of 20-40 pax. Must try their lunch specials ($5 onwards) & special weekday dinner sets for 2, 4 & 6 pax. My fav include: 1. Ngoh Hiong 2. Sambal Wings 3. Ayam Ponteh (chicken with potatoes) 4. Fish cakes 5.
